One-of-Kind Hand Crafted Hardwood Substrates for Fine Art and More
Our hardwood art substrates are SUPERIOR in Every Way! Each cradled canvas is hand built using only the finest materials in our strict 75-step process. Each substrate is individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Give your next Masterpiece the SUPERIOR Start it deserves!
Proudly made in the heart of Michigan
We hand-craft all of our substrates in our small woodworking shop right here in our home state of Michigan. Click the arrow to check out the first few steps of our 75 steps process.
All Cut and Ready for Assembly
Each piece of the cradle is individually hand cut and fitted before gluing. This is a very time-consuming process because we do not use CNC machines.
Clamps and more Clamps
It takes a lot of clamps to firmly hold everything in place during the gluing process. We do not use staples, nails or screws in our assembly.
Hand Taping
We hand tape each substrate 4 separate times during the different stages of assembly.
Ready for Sealing
Sealing is the first step in our finish process and is super important. We completely seal the entire substrate top, bottom and sides.
EVERY SUBSTRATE ARRIVES COMPLETELY READY FOR YOUR NEXT MASTERPIECE! ZERO PREP NEEDED
Do you LOVE to work on wood as a medium but HATE all the prep work required to make it last? We have your solution right here.
